The second season of "Daredevil" ended with a huge cliffhanger that made many fans want more. In the next season, there will also be a stronger villain who will spread havoc in Hell's Kitchen.

By the end of season two, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) was able to overcome the plans of The Hand. He also defeated one of the evil organization's leaders, Nobu. He made a hard decision by finally revealing his true identity to Karen (Deborah Ann Woll). However, the streets of Hell's Kitchen are still not at peace until every threat has been eliminated by the Daredevil.

There are reports saying that the new villain who Murdock will be facing is Bullseye. It is still unknown how the character will be introduced, but there are speculations that he seeks vengeance and wants to kill the blind hero. In the comic books, the antagonist is known to be the rival of Daredevil, and they had countless battles with each other. Furthermore, the villain has the ability to throw any projectile without missing thus earning him the title of "Bullseye."

Another conflict that Daredevil may be facing is the return of Elektra (Elodie Yung). Based on reports, Murdock thought that she was killed by Nobu, but her body was retrieved by The Hand. There are speculations that she will be revived by the organization, but this time, she will be serving as their assassin. Furthermore, there is a possibility that Elektra is now immortal.

With the constant problems that are appearing in Hell's Kitchen, Matt will realize that he can't face this alone. He will ask support from the heroes who are also residing near his location. These heroes will be Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage.

There is no exact release date yet for the third season of "Daredevil," but it is expected to arrive in 2018 after the release of "The Defenders."
