'Deadpool' update: Ryan Reynolds was worried about sexual elements

The upcoming film, "Deadpool," is one of the much anticipated movies that will hit cinemas next year. Sadly, not everyone will have the privilege to watch it as the movie was rated as R or for adults 18 only. With that said, Ryan Reynolds, the actor that will appear as Wade Wilson in the movie, was apparently, at one point, concerned about the sexual contents of the film.

During Reynolds' and Tim Miller's interview with Collider, the actor had revealed that the sexual scenes in the film are actually concerning, in Reynolds' point of view. "There is some sexuality in this movie for sure. You kinda think you have moments when you're shooting where you think, "This is, uh, a little excessive. This is a comic book movie. Are we gonna get away with this?" the actor said.

With his comment, some fans might actually find that worrying luckily though, and as confirmed by the actor, everything went well according to plan. "But so far so good. Studio hasn't crushed us with anything," Reynolds continued. "They were here yesterday, they were thrilled, they saw some cut footage and so far so good."

Lastly, the actor had updated the fans that they can expect many new photos coming their way and of course, considering that this is "Deadpool," they can pretty much expect the craziest, albeit hilarious, things possible—though Reynolds did not reveal if these photos that are set to be released are in any way sexual or not.

"We did a photo shoot for an entire day of just different, completely insane things that Deadpool is doing and there's a lot more to come. They'll be slowly released."

But of course, Reynolds did not drop any specifics on this matter and it is now up to the fans to find out the shocking revelation on the premiere of the Merc with a Mouth's debut movie, "Deadpool." The film is set to premiere in cinemas next year, February 12, 2016.
