Many hardcore game enthusiasts search for new hidden contents whenever there is a new expansion to a game. In "Destiny: The Taken King," there is a hidden room but, unfortunately, it doesn't have any surprises or whatnot, as confirmed by the developer and publisher of the game, Bungie.

According to Bungie developer and "Destiny: The Taken King" game designer Luke Smith, the hidden room, called Oryx's Basketball Court, does not have any kind of relevance to the game.

"Oryx's Basketball Court is a fun Easter Egg the team put together. It's just a place to Dunk like your neighbors 8 ft rim. No loot to find," Smith said on the official statement via Twitter

As for how players can enter this secret room, GameSpot explained that the player must first have a specific light-based code. The room is located in one of the raids in-game, specifically in the King's Fall raid.

There are no amazing features inside the room and players who manage to make their way inside will see a statue where they can "dunk" items in. However, GameSpot said that players shouldn't expect something to happen after doing that as its purpose is just for that, the dunking.

Fans on that Twitter thread have been calling this one a lie as they were expecting a secret feature or hidden event. Sadly, the developer has already stressed out that this is just an Eater egg and nothing more.

For the curious ones, though, here is a quick video on what's inside the secret room of the "King's Fall" raid in "Destiny: The Taken King" from YouTuber PlanetDestiny.
