A developer diary was released for "Dishonored 2" and it can be seen in the clip that the developers are talking about how they designed and built the structure of missions that can be found in the game. Aside from that, Bethesda also released a live-action trailer for the upcoming title.

The lead designer of "Dishonored 2," Dinga Bakaba, and creative director Harvey Smith, were featured in the latest developer diary of the game. In it, they discussed how they designed each level intricately and also why each mission is open-ended.

The two mentioned that at the start of the game, players are already given a choice. They can choose between Corvo and Emily who they'll play as. The lead designer and creative director then continued explaining in the video: "And then you're faced with the choice of which pathway to take through this crazy non-linear space ... And then on top of that you're faced with the play style question. Do you sneak and try to avoid killing people? Do you sneak but kill as many people as possible? Do you just kick the front door in and fight through?"

Smith also mentioned he drew inspiration from the old missions of the predecessor, but he added a special theme to it in order to make the new levels more memorable. The lead level designer of the title, Christophe Carrier, also discussed why the mission called "Crack in the Slab" is one of the best missions of "Dishonored 2."

Furthermore, another trailer was released for the latest installment and it recreates in live action some scenes that were previously shown. Bethesda has already done this before with "Fallout 4" in order to create more hype for the title. It was seen in the latest promotional clip that Corvo Attano and Emily Kaldwin are depicted in real human forms. What surprised fans in the video is that the powers they exhibited merged well in an environment that was real.

"Dishonored 2" is slated to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 11.
