'Dragon Age: Inquisition' news: BioWare releasing the final and official DLC, 'Trespasser'

BioWare just confirmed the previously leaked final official DLC for "Dragon Age: Inquisition" dubbed as the "Trespasser."

According to the updated report by PC Gamer, BioWare has officially confirmed the leaked DLC trailer for "Trespasser" and it will be in fact, the final content to be added to the game.

Last weekend, Eurogamer spotted the DLC trailer for "Trespasser" circulating the web. As said in the original report by PC Gamer, it seems like Electronic Arts Spain had prematurely and accidentally released the trailer on the Internet. However, it was soon taken down by the publisher.

Luckily, after the official confirmation from the developer, the trailer has been replaced by the official one without the Spanish subtitles on them, PC Gamer reported.

In terms of how the story will go in this final DLC, the developer revealed that it will take place a few years into the future, after the story of the main game. "It's something we haven't tried before: an epilogue. Trespasser tells an entirely new story, set two years after the main game," BioWare wrote in their official announcement.

The developer continued to explain the story of  "Trespasser" and said, "The story explores what it's like to be a world-saving organization when the world no longer needs saving. It's a chance to meet and talk with old friends, to uncover a new threat, and ultimately decide the fate of the Inquisition you worked so hard to build. It might just contain hints about the future of Thedas, too."

Additionally, BioWare explained that fans must first complete the main storyline of "Dragon Age: Inquisition" before they can play "Trespasser." The developer reminded gamers, "To play Trespasser, you'll need a character that has completed 'DAI's' main storyline, which is partly why we're announcing it a bit earlier-from-release than the others."

Unfortunately, there is still no word regarding the release date of "Trespasser." As mentioned on PC Gamer, though BioWare confirmed the DLC, they have yet to confirm the rumored Sept. 8 release date.

For fans who might have missed the trailer, here is the clip that the developer officially released from "Dragon Age's" official YouTube channel.
