Fans of "Dragon Ball Super" can expect the appearance of a new face in the upcoming episode 49. A heated battle between two of the most powerful forces is expected to ensue.

According to reports, a new character will be introduced in the anime. The said character is rumored to be the green-skinned creature God King Zamasu. No official details have been released about the new character. However, there are already heaps of theories and predictions as to who he really is.

Some reports speculate that Zamasu's level is even much higher than the Gods of Destruction, Beerus, and Champa. However, fans will still have to find out how he would fare against the other mega powerful beings like Supreme Kais and Zeno.

There are also rumors that Black Goku may have some mysterious link with Zamasu because they have similar style of clothing and body type. Some suggest that he may be a powerful force in the past that joined the dark side and then fused into a Goku along the way.

There is also a possibility that Zamasu came from another universe, a universe that hasn't been explored by the "Dragon Ball Super" storyline. Since Universe 6 and 7 are mostly where the present characters came from, it is possible that Zamasu's origins can be traced from one of the remaining 8 universes.

Fans can watch the preview trailer for episode 49, titled "A Message from the Future! Goku Black Invades," while waiting for the episode to air. The short clip shows Black Goku's appearance in the midst of Goku, Vegeta, and Future Trunks. At first, Future Trunks and Son Goku will have their own rift to settle. However, the highlight of it all is when Black Goku and Son Goku face off.

The all-new episode of "Dragon Ball Super" will air on Sunday, June 26, on Fuji TV.
