The schedule for the release of the third and final set of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" DLC is June 9. However, since the announcement was made by the Japanese arm of Bandai Namco, the release to the European and North American regions might happen at a later date.

The DLC will feature characters from the recent hit movie, "Resurrection of F" and will contain the final powered up versions of Goku (Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku), Vegeta (Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta) and Frieza (Golden Frieza). The pack will also feature Jaco (the Galactic Patroller) from the recent tie-in manga and who was also in the new movie, albeit briefly.

In addition to the new characters, the pack will also include five Parallel Quests, two Masters (Jaco the Galactic Patroller and Elder Kai), eight Master Quests, fourteen Moves, two Costumes (Turtle Hermit and Gohan's Tracksuit) two New Accessories (Tagoma's Scouter and Turtle Hermit set), and seven Z-Souls.

Xenoverse has reached 2.5 million dollars in sales worldwide. The new DLC will be made available across all versions of Xenoverse, so everybody should be catered for.

Timing is also key, in that the new DLC ties it quite well with the upcoming Western release of the new movie.

The DLC will cost around $9.99 and will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and Steam.

Below are some upcoming events in Dragon Ball Xenoverse:

  • May 21 to 27, 2015 event will allow players to earn 25% more points from Parallel Quests from created characters
  • May 28 to June 3, 2015 event will bring 25% additional currency (zeni) to players in this period.

Bandai Namco has also announced through its official Facebook page that players in Europe and America can get free Dragon Ball Resurrection "F" costume pack for Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Season Pass holders will get the costume automatically, while Steam players will have to register for a free key to the costume pack.
