Bethesda's sequel to 2011's highly successful Skyrim could be rolling out in the first quarter of 2016, based on various reports.

"Elder Scrolls 6," the sixth instalment of the open-world fantasy role playing game is believed to become available in March next year. Although the development team has yet to confirm the news, many believe that Bethesda Softworks might have teased the game's release date during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2015. This led many fans to believe that "Elder Scrolls 6" will be released ahead of another much-anticipated game, "Fallout 4."

One thing's certain, however. The game will be titled "Argonia." It will focus on the Argonian people, a race that possesses reptile-like qualities and thrives in a swampy location. That being said, those who enjoyed playing "Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind" may feel right at home with this new game.

Bethesda is known to use previous games to provide hints on future projects. If one is to put this into consideration, then it makes a lot of sense that "Argonia" could happen.

Further speculations hint that "Elder Scrolls 6" will offer multiplayer options so that gamers can make other characters for the online mode. This should excite gamers but it's important to note that the characters used in a multiplayer mode are different from those in a single-player mode. That means gamers will need to use different characters for each mode.

Players will start at the Black Marsh and are now allowed to travel to any part of Tramiel like Cyrodill, Skyrim, Morrowind and Hammerfall.

"Elder Scrolls 6" comes right after "Elder Scrolls Online" which failed to reach the success Bethesda was expecting. That is why the company decided to remove the six-month subscription and re-introduced the game as "Tamriel Unlimited."

Many are hoping that Bethesda will finally give fans something concrete when it participates in the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) on June 16 to 18 2015.
