'Fallout 4' news: More DLC packs to release within the year

"Fallout 4" players have already been given the opportunity to purchase and download three DLC packs for the game, and they can still expect to see more being made available later this year.

In a recent post on their official web site, Bethesda announced that they have plans to release more add-ons before the end of the year.

The game developer added that players can also expect to learn more about other free updates that may also be released within 2016, such as the Mods that are already available for the game's PC port. Those Mods are also set to make their way to Xbox One consoles within this month and then later on to the PS4 port of the game sometime in June.

While Bethesda has yet to announce exactly what these new DLC packs and free updates will be, some fans may have already learned more about a few of these upcoming additions.

Recently, Reddit user "flashman7870" shared an image of what looks to be the game's files that seemed to include some curious filenames.

By taking a closer look at the image, "Fallout 4" fans can see some interesting filenames such as "DLCNukaWorld.esm," "DLCworkshop02.esm" and "DLCworkshop03.esm."

Understandably, more than a few fans were excited to learn about the findings.

Some even commented on the post, indicating that the "Nuka World" finding in particular may be pointing to a potential theme park DLC that could soon be added to "Fallout 4."

Unfortunately, it's still too early to tell if the findings are indeed hinting at new DLC packs for the game.

The game developer has yet to specify exactly what the upcoming DLC packs will be, so fans will just have to stay tuned to find out more about them.

Hopefully, Bethesda will let people know more about the DLC plans for "Fallout 4" sooner rather than later.
