"Fast and Furious 7" or "Furious 7" earned a lot in the previous year because of the film's heart-warming take on Paul Walker's unexpected death. Because of the film's success, discussions about the upcoming "Fast and Furious 8" are now circling around the web.

According to several reports, the eighth installment of the long-running franchise will solely be a tribute for the beloved character of Walker.

Vin Diesel has recently shared how emotional everyone was during the filming of the last "Fast & Furious" movie, explaining how the cast members of the franchise treated each other as family.

"I can't stand here and be rewarded like this without talking about someone very, very important to us. One of the best blessings in our lives is that we have the opportunity to call Pablo a brother. Paul Walker is here with us in spirit. This was a very special movie for us to make. We make these movies with our hearts. We really are a family...We are a true, true, true family," he said.

Still, some sources claim that the filming of the eighth installment will be held back a bit since Diesel is in the midst of filming for a new "XXX" movie.

Dwayne "The Rock" Jonson will be a part of the eighth film, as well as "Transporter" star, Jason Statham. A new character, however, is expected to be introduced. It was confirmed, recently, that Australian personality, Ruby Rose, recently known for her role on the Netflix hit series, "Orange Is the New Black" is currently in discussion with the film's production to sign on to the movie.

In an interview, the actress revealed that she first tried to auditioned for "Fast and Furious 7" but was turned down because the casting team thought that she looked a lot like a certain infamous Canadian pop star.

"My last audition before Orange was for Fast And Furious 7, but they didn't want me because one of the main guys said I looked like Justin Bieber! It's so funny because now I'm in talks with that movie and I haven't mentioned to them that I know," exclaimed Rose.

"Fast and Furious 8" will premiere on April 14, 2017.
