The upcoming episode of "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 will see the Abigail nearing its destination.

The official synopsis for episode 6, titled "Sicut Cervus," reads: "Conflict is going to erupt in a final push to Strand's destination; and Chris will end up making a decision that will shake the family. In the meantime, Nick is going to meet a new maternal figure."

A trailer has also been released for the new episode and it sees something in their plan going awry. Strand (Colman Domingo) and Luis' (Arturo del Puerto) contact is seen with someone they don't know, which alerts them of something not right. Madison (Kim Dickens) and everyone else then go to the engine room to hide while Strand meets with the contact. However, a gunshot is heard above and Madison and the others are visibly scared. The source of the gunshot isn't shown though, leaving viewers to speculate on their own.

Meanwhile, here is a recap of the previous episode, titled "Captive."

Travis (Cliff Curtis) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) were held captive by Connor after the events of the previous episode. Madison led everyone to rescue the two.

Connor treated Alicia fairly well, even cooking for her and not holding her down with anything. However, Alicia was more concerned about the well-being of her family. She managed to escape and make it to the deck, but she is surprised to find out that they're not at open waters anymore—they've settled in a port.

Meanwhile, Travis wasn't treated as well as Alicia was. He was kept in a dirty cell. After a lot of hindrances and a planned trade going somewhat badly, Travis and Alicia found themselves back with Madison and their family. They headed back to the Abigail, safe and sound—for now.

It seems that a lot more will take place in the remaining episodes of "Fear the Walking Dead." The second season is closely approaching its end and fans are left wondering how the show intends to close this chapter.
