Eagerly anticipated Square Enix RPG "Final Fantasy 15" will be at this year's E3, and fans in attendance will even get a chance to try out the upcoming game.

Square Enix announced that a playable demo of the game will be at E3 in a post on their official web site, though they did not detail exactly what players can expect.

Unlike the "Platinum Demo" released earlier this year, the one expected to be accessible at E3 will be the game itself, so fans who have been on the fence when it comes to deciding whether or not to purchase it can try it out then and see if the latest installment of the long-running RPG franchise is worth their money.

"Final Fantasy 15" is expected to introduce a variety of significant changes to the franchise, not the least of which will be to its battle system.

Long-time fans of the series are probably well-acquainted with the turn-based battle system that has been present in many titles. And while variations of it have been installed before, the latest installment may be taking things a bit further by offering a more action-oriented style of combat.

Still, those who have gotten used to the classic "Final Fantasy" battle system may still be able to experience that as well.

In a post on "Final Fantasy 15's" official forums, lead game designer Takizawa Masashi revealed that different battle modes may allow players to choose between a faster and more intuitive style of gameplay and a slower, more methodical combat system.

Perhaps the demo that will be made available at E3 will also allow players to experience the differing styles of gameplay.

Aside from the demo, additional details about the game itself are expected to be shared at E3, so fans will want to tune in once the event gets underway starting June 14.

Following E3, fans can look forward to the release of "Final Fantasy 15" itself as that will take place on Sept. 30.
