In just a little over a month, PS4 and Xbox One owners will finally be able to try "Final Fantasy 15," but what about those who prefer to play on the PC?

During a recent interview with Hobby Consolas, a Spanish video game magazine, director Hajime Tabata touched on the subject of the upcoming role-playing game's (RPG) chances of getting a PC port.

Mognet Central user "Lulost" offered a helpful translation of Tabata's response.

According to Tabata, creating a PC port of the game would necessitate a lot of adjustments being made and developers focusing solely on that particular task. Tabata admitted that, for now at least, creating a PC port of "Final Fantasy 15" is not where the development team is focused on, though he did also reveal that the developers have expressed interest in releasing a PC version of the game.

The positive point there that PC gamers can pounce on is that interest on the part of the developers remains, and as long as it exists, then there's still a chance that the eagerly anticipated RPG could be given a new home.

Still, PC gamers may be better served to keep their expectations in check, as even if a third port does go into development; it will likely be a while before it is made available.

Tabata also talked about "Final Fantasy 15" possibly getting a PC version during an earlier interview with Vida Extra, and over the course of that conversation, he shared that it may take more than a year to develop the third port, WCCF Tech reported.

In any case, if developers do decide to push through with creating a PC port of the new game, then an announcement revealing that likely won't be shared until after the console versions are released on Nov. 29.

More news about "Final Fantasy 15" potentially getting a PC port should be made available in the near future.
