The breakout MTV teen drama 'Finding Carter' is set to return for its second season later this month and it promises to resolve lingering issues from the first season while bringing about fresh new developments for both the Stevens and the Wilsons.

MTV posted a short preview at its official web site and it showcases the major themes and reveals a few nuggets of information to expect in the upcoming season. The short thirty second clip opens with Carter Stevens (Kathryn Prescott) conversing with Lori (Milena Govich), with the latter imploring to her would-be-daughter that she is not the "bad guy" in this situation.

Other scenes in the preview show Elizabeth and David Wilson (Cynthia Watros and Alexis Denisof) vowing to recover their once again abducted daughter while dealing with controversies of their own. Carter's twin sister Taylor worries for her sister and wonders aloud, "You don't think she would hurt Carter, do you?"

From the looks of things, it appears that Carter's life will once again be turned upside down as she tries to navigate through these familial bombshells that have been dropped on her. Also of note is the ever evolving relationship between Elizabeth and David. What dark secrets do they hold that would prompt Lori to claim that she did no wrong? Will Elizabeth finally reunite once and for all with her biological daughter? All these questions and more will hopefully be answered in this new episodes coming up this season.

'Finding Carter' season two resumes on March 31 later this month. It will run for twelve episodes and will retain the majority of the original cast that appeared in the first season of the show. Returning guest characters include Taylor's on again off again boyfriend Max (Alex Saxon), Beatrix (Vanessa Morgan), and Ofe (Jesse Carere).
