Aside from its unique and creepy gameplay, another good thing about "Five Nights at Freddy's" is that you do not have to wait years for the next installment of the game. Ever since its debut in 2014, "Five Nights at Freddy's" creator, Scott Cawthon, has made sure that his fans are fed a steady stream of sequels.

As a matter of fact, the intrepid 43-year-old appears to be all set with the fourth installment of the video game and has shared a trailer that has been described as creepier than most horror films being made now.

"Five Nights at Freddy's 4" proves that no place is safe as Freddy's animatronic monsters appear to have followed the player home, turning the one place you should feel safe in into an arcade of terror. The game play basically remains the same but with a more desperate feel to it as each switch of the lamp heightens one's sense of dread.

For a simple trailer, it is chockfull of ominous looking shots of a normal house in the dead of night, with glimpses of scary creatures stealthily moving about, waiting for the right moment to jump out at you.

"Five Nights at Freddy's 4" is allegedly "The Final Chapter" of Cawthon's brilliant brainchild. But fans are not ready to let the game go yet, pointing out that there are no indications in the trailer that would justify that news. And even if the game ends, a "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie is possible as Warner Bros. have purchased the game's film rights back in April.

Contrary to earlier reports, "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" is set to be released on Aug. 8, which coincides with the first game's third anniversary. But a "free update with extra content" is set to come out on Oct. 31, so fans will have something to do after they are done with their trick or treating.
