'Five Nights at Freddy's World' update brings new characters and story elements

The long wait for "Five Nights at Freddy's World" players has finally ended as the newest update for the RPG is now live.

After weeks of teasers and hints trying to get at what the next update contains, players can now find out for themselves by downloading it for free.

Developer Scott Cawthon has provided a brief description of the latest update over on Game Jolt, the same web site from where the update itself can be downloaded.

Within the description, Cawthon informs players that the game now has 48 playable characters, giving them plenty of viable options to consider when it comes to constructing their parties.

Cawthon did not specify exactly who the new characters were in the brief description, though according to Design and Trend, a few of the notable additions that players now have access to include the familiar Scott Cawthon avatar and the strange Purple Man.

Aside from the additional characters, Cawthon also hinted at some of the new storyline elements that players can learn more about now that they can download and install the latest "Five Nights at Freddy's World" update.

According to the description, players will now be able to venture forth into a new, digital world that appears "distorted and broken."

Inside this seemingly broken world, players will be tasked with discovering the reasons for why the glitches exist. Once they do, they must then figure out a way to fix them, and in the process transform the formerly broken world.

Cawthon has also hinted that there may even be more surprising elements for players to encounter as they go deeper into this digital world.

"Five Nights at Freddy's World" players will have the opportunity to find out what those secrets are for themselves as they explore and experience all that the newest update has to offer.
