'Frozen 2' rumors: Sequel to reveal Anna's superpowers

(Facebook/Frozen)Rumors claim that "Frozen 2" will reveal that Anna has superpowers, too.

While it's unclear if "Frozen 2" has already entered its production stage, there are already various rumors and speculations as to what its plot will be. Among the many speculations, though, it can't be denied that one of the most persistent is that Anna will discover that she has superpowers, too.

There is no denying that "Frozen 2" is one of the most highly anticipated movie sequels ever. With how the first "Frozen" movie charmed the world back in 2013, this is really not surprising at all. However, as Disney has kept mum on any detail about the movie, fans can only turn to rumors and speculations to strike their fancy.

As of this writing, no one outside Disney really knows if "Frozen 2" has already started its production. However, it is said that the movie is likely to run along a plot that will reveal that Anna has superpowers as well. Reportedly, as opposed to that of Elsa, whose superpower is to create ice, Anna's ability will be to create fire.

Upon discovering her powers, it is alleged that Anna will turn evil as she is consumed by her jealousy toward her sister. Reportedly, she will use her powers to kill Elsa so that she can become the next queen of Arandelle. However, with Elsa's popularity and kids as Disney's main market for the movie, many opine that such a plot won't happen at all.

Apart from the speculations on Anna having superpowers, it can't also be denied that the rumors claiming that Elsa will be revealed as a lesbian and given a gay lover in "Frozen 2" are also loud. However, again, considering Disney's market for this movie, it is unlikely to come into reality as well.

Apparently, everything about "Frozen 2's" plot is a hearsay and unconfirmed pieces of information at this point in time and must be taken with a grain of salt. Although the movie does not have a slated release date yet, the best way to confirm what will happen to Elsa and Anna in "Frozen 2" is to wait for the movie's arrival — who knows exactly when.
