The South Korean based tech giant, Samsung, has recently rolled out the invites for their annual Unpacked event next month, Aug. 13 at New York City. The company tweeted a photo last July 27, and as can be seen in the posted image, it seems like Samsung is teasing the fans about a much curvy handset.

According to the report by Engadget, the photo is hinting a curvier smartphone which will be featured at the event next month. It was speculated that this teaser is probably the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.

However, as the previous circulating rumor suggests, it is not only the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus which will be unveiled but also the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, as also mentioned by Tech Radar.

As for the specifications of these two devices, Tech Radar reports that both of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 5 are rumored to come with the same screen size. They will come with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 2K display quality.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is expected to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor which will be backed up by 3 GB of RAM, as the report from PC Advisor suggests.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5, on the other hand, based on a recent report by GSM Arena, will be powered by a Samsung Exynos 7422 processor which will be supported by 4 GB of RAM. In addition, the next model is also believed to include an integrated GPU and modem, as stated on CNET.

However, since there are still no official announcement yet from the manufacturer regarding these leaks and rumors, it is best to take these speculations with a grain of salt for now and wait for the Unpacked event next month for the confirmation.
