After finally revealing the real cause of the exploding Galaxy Note 7 earlier this week, it is now suspected that its successor, the Galaxy Note 8, may not arrive earlier than fall this year.

Months after conducting a series of investigations on why the Galaxy Note 7 was exploding, it has finally been confirmed that it was, indeed, because of its battery. Hence, Samsung has now adapted a new 8-point quality assurance plan to avert similar incidents from happening to their future devices, including the Galaxy Note 8.

Because of the new safety measures that Samsung has adapted, Samsung fans who have remained loyal to its Note series can rest assured that the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 is a device that is worth looking forward to.

"I will bring back a better, safer and very innovative Note 8," said Samsung mobile boss DJ Koh in an interview.

Because of the new safety policy of Samsung, there are now those who suspect that the Galaxy Note 8's release will be delayed. Reportedly, it is likely for the device to arrive in fall this year instead of the usual summer.

The Galaxy Note 7 was released in August last year.

Meanwhile, as it was Koh himself who revealed that the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 will be innovative, some cannot help but suspect that rumors claiming that the upcoming device will be the first Samsung device to sport a foldable screen may be true at all.

Prior to Koh's statement, there were already numerous rumors saying that the Galaxy Note 8 will have a foldable screen that will enable its users to convert it into a tablet. If this turns out to be true, it will be an innovation from the current smartphones, indeed.

However, there is a possibility for the device to compete with the Surface Phone as the alleged Microsoft device is also said to come with the same feature.
