'Game Of Thrones' season 5 spoilers: Cersi and Jamie are Targaryens? Is Robb Stark alive?

(HBO/official Facebook page)Winter is coming on April 12 on HBO at 9 p.m.

HBO's "Game Of Thrones" is known to shock and awe its fans with gruesome character deaths, unexpected plot twists and incestuous relationships. While the TV series doesn't strictly follow George RR Martin's books, it's a good place to start. Here are some crazy theories based on books and fans:

1. Robb Stark is Alive

According to the theory reported by The Huffington Post, Robb Stark is about to send his regrets to the Lannisters. Remember that the Starks have an uncanny ability to warg into animals, so why can't Robb Stark do it too? The theory postulates that Robb warged into a dire wolf during the Red Wedding and then into some other animal when the wolf was killed. If this fan theory holds true, fans are in for quite a surprise.

2. Theon escapes

According to the books and as reported by the Independent, Theon finally catches a break and escapes the clutches of his evil captor. He also manages to regain his sanity.

3. Jon Snow's real parentage

The books reveal that Jon Snow is actually a Targaryen since he is the child of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. It was Lyanna's dying wish that Eddard claim the child as his own and protect him. The theory is denoted by "R L=J". However, fan theories are suggesting Snow's real mother is Lady Ashara Dayne or even the wet nurse Wylla and noble Eddard did cheat on his wife.

4. Jamie and Cersi are Targaryens

This is perhaps the most shocking of all. This fan theory explains that the Mad King Aerys may have bedded Tywin Lannister's wife, Joanna, on Tywin's wedding night. Subtle hints in the book also support the theory.

5. Ramsay claims Winterfell

Ramsay is the legitimate heir of Winterfell and the Stark's ancestral home now belongs to the Boltons. Expect Ramsay to head north and claim it.
