German company, Gigaset, may not be as well known in the smartphone market right now, but many are sure to remember its former name, Siemens, the manufacturer that used to produce cellphones alongside Nokia, back in the day.

Gigaset has joined the competitive smartphone market and recently released three new smartphones during the IFA Berlin tech show. Their new releases are the Gigaset ME Pure, Gigaset ME and the Gigaset ME Pro.

"In Gigaset ME, every one of our customers should find something to make them happy, no matter who they are, where they use it or the situation they use it in," Gigaset global head of design, Hans Henning-Brabander, said.

The ME Pro's camera is quite impressive, featuring a 20 MP rear camera with a 85 degree wide angle lens and f/2.2 aperture and an 8 MP front-facing camera with a 120 degree wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture.

The device also comes with a powerful 4,000 mAh battery, with fast charge capabilities.

Gigaset's ME line-up all feature smartphones with a solid build and a stainless steel unibody. They are preloaded with the Android 5.1 Lollipop Os with a Gigaset UI overlay.

The Gigaset ME is now available in Europe for $530. The other two smartphones price tags have yet to be released. Gigaset has also not announced a possible North America release date for the smartphones.

Among the releases, the ME and the ME Pro are the company's most exciting offerings. The ME Pro as well, can set to compete with smartphones such as the OnePlus 2 and the LG G4.
