Riley (Rowan Blanchard) will defy her mother's orders in the upcoming episode of "Girl Meets World." Is she really old enough to look after herself?

In the episode titled "Girl Meets Her Monster," the promo reveals that Riley and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) will have a huge fight. It appears that the teen has had enough of her mother's scolding and wants to leave the house.

In the clip, Riley and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) are shown doing their usual binge-watching. They are giggling happily while watching a movie on Riley's laptop. Topanga comes into the room and shouts at the girls. Maya tries to escape by crawling out of the window, but Topanga is quick to hold onto her legs and stops her.

Later on, the Matthews family is shown having a serious talk. Riley, Topanga and Cory (Ben Savage) are sitting facing each other. It looks like Topanga is telling Riley that she must stop her habit of watching movies nonstop. Riley stands up and tells her mother she will not do as she says and threatens to leave the house. Topanga can only looks incredulously at her daughter after hearing what she said. Cory also appears very surprised at Riley's daring. They have never seen their daughter act like that. What is wrong with Riley?

Last episode, the sitcom showed an alternate world where Riley and Maya have never been friends. Unlike her usual style, Riley was into girly things and liked wearing dresses and hair bows. Maya, on the other hand, loved wearing gothic clothes, completely the opposite of her fresh and clean look. Meanwhile, Lucas (Peyton Meyer) was not his usual popular self. He was portrayed as a loner who had very few friends. Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis) and Smackle (Cecilia Balagot), who get along nicely, were each other's biggest nemesis. Auggie (August Maturo) was a ghost.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 16 will air Friday, Nov. 4, 8:30 p.m. EST on Disney.
