The release date for Disney Channel's "Girl Meets World" season 3 has been revealed and fans will see the characters all grown-up as they enter the world of high school.

According to The Wrap, the first episode of season 3 will be a two-part episode. The first episode titled "Girl Meets High School Part One" will air on June 3, Friday at 8:30 p.m. ET and the second part will air on June 5, Sunday, at 8:30 p.m. ET.

As stated in the official synopsis for season 3, Riley (Rowan Blanchard) will now go through a different journey with her group of friends including Lucas (Peyton Meyer), Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) and Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis). They will now enter their first year in high school and experience the ups and downs of being freshman students.

Apart from their journey through high school, season 3 will explore more of the characters' feelings. The show is expected to delve more on the love triangle formed by Maya, Riley and Lucas. Fans have their own choice of pair from the love triangle, it's either they're on team Lucas and Riley or on team Lucas and Maya.

However, show writers may have revealed the fate of the love triangle. Their Twitter post reads, "Ski Lodge is this year's Texas. Every episode so far is good. Upstate is real good. Riley, Maya, Lucas all find a relationship. We grow up."

At this point, no one knows who ends up with who yet, but if the writers' post is something to go by, there will be a lot of drama brewing in the next season. Since it was hinted that all three characters will have their own relationship, there are speculations that Riley might end up with Farkle. After all, showrunner Michael Jacobs previously revealed that there will be some changes, considering "high school is the most confusing, awful, terrible and ultimately — if you do it right — wonderful springboard into college and the rest of your life."

Fans will find out soon when "Girl Meets World" premieres in June.
