'Girl Meets World' season 2 episode 24 spoilers: friendship between Riley and Maya put to the test in 'Girl Meets Belief'

(Disney)

Riley and Maya's friendship will be tested in "Girl Meets Belief," an all-new episode airing this Friday, Nov. 13. "Girl Meets Belief" will be an important episode as it challenges the kids to look within themselves.

According to the official episode synopsis, "Cory asks the kids to challenge one another's beliefs to see if it changes their perspectives." The upcoming episode will delve into the existence of God and how a person's beliefs inform the kinds of decisions that they make in life.

Riley and Maya have been "best-friends-forever" but it seems that they will have difficulty seeing eye-to-eye in the forthcoming episode. Riley has difficulty understanding Maya and her lack of beliefs. In the promo footage, Riley tells Maya, "You need to believe in things! Why wont you believe in anything?" Maya, on the other hand, remains silent and seems to have been affected by Riley's words.

It seems that the conflict between Riley and Maya will further escalate later in the episode. Riley is confused when Maya doesn't want to become partners with her. When she asks why, Maya admits that she needs a break from Riley. As the fight between them grows, Maya states, "How about I do what I do and you do what you do."

"This is where our friendship ends, right here and right now," a voiceover can be heard from the promo.

Will this be the end of Riley and Maya's friendship? Not if Farkle can help it. The oh-so-loveable Farkle will try to mend the girls' relationship. "The two of you cant be apart. It shakes the foundation of the whole world," he tells Maya. Hopefully, Farkle can talk some sense into Riley and Maya.

To see what happens to Riley, Maya and their friendship, be sure to catch "Girl Meets Belief." Season two of "Girl Meets World" airs every Friday at 8:30 p.m. on the Disney channel.
