There have not been a lot of new revelations concerning the upcoming "God of War" PlayStation 4 game recently, though that may change soon enough.

Over on Twitter, director Cory Barlog has been interacting with fans and answering questions they have about the ongoing development of the eagerly anticipated title.

One of the questions posed to Barlog was about when new details concerning the game may be shared. Unfortunately, Barlog was unable to provide a specific date for when that may happen, though he did share that he hopes more details can be revealed soon.

Barlog also mentioned that he and the other developers are currently fully focused on the game.

The director has been using Twitter to address some of the questions fans have about the new "God of War" PS4 game, and in the process, he's even provided some storyline details, though they can't exactly be considered as significant revelations.

It's understandable that fans are curious about the new game, and that developers have been very careful when it comes to talking about it.

Many things are changing in the latest installment of the franchise, ranging from the new Norse mythology-inspired setting to the fact that Kratos now has a son who accompanies him on his journeys.

Revelations that detail these planned changes further will be ones fans will be after, so developers will likely want to hold off on sharing them until the timing is absolutely perfect.

Aside from the planned changes, there's one more thing fans want to learn about the game and that's its exact release date.

Again, back on Twitter, Barlog indicated that he and the other developers are "still figuring things out" with regards to the release date.

For now, fans will simply have to sit back, continue waiting and hoping that the "God of War" PS4 details they have been seeking will be shared sometime soon.
