It has been two years since the last GoPro camera was released in the market, but nothing was heard from the company after. It's a known fact that the company has been struggling financially, but there are reports that GoPro will be revealing their latest action camera that is the GoPro Hero 5 sometime during the Holidays.

Aside from the rumored shooter, the company is also speculated to finally unveil the first drone from GoPro dubbed as Karma.

Recent reports also suggest that the much-awaited GoPro Hero 5 camera might be donning an unprecedented 8K ultra high definition (UHD) feature which is considered a first in video recording.

The yet-to-be-announced action camera is said to be powered by the latest H1 processor from Ambarella Incorporated which is a renowned manufacturer of image processing chipsets. Moreover, the long-awaited device is rumored to be featuring Long-Term Evolution (LTE) capabilities which will enable users to connect to the web and start streaming their videos. Fans might recall that early this year, GoPro made a deal with the video-streaming company Periscope which made fans theorize that the next GoPro camera might go online.

Furthermore, the company's next generation camera is said to be more compact as compared to its predecessor and its waterproof capability was also further enhanced. In fact, it is said that GoPro Hero 5 can handle underwater depths as deep as 60 meters.

The GoPro Karma, on the other hand, is a forthcoming drone from the company. There was even a video posted last month by Patent Yogi about a patent filed December of last year with Ryan Michael Goldstein as the name of the applicant and inventor. Goldstein is a mechanical engineer in the Aerial Products division of GoPro. The video shows an illustration of the purported Karma drone, and from the looks of it, the device will be a foldable drone that will come in three variants.
