Gran Turismo 6 has released several new updates for the month of September, including Sierra, the newest and longest track that has ever been introduced to the game.

"In the first original long course 'Circuit de La Sierra' modeled after the Ronda region of Spain, players will attempt to complete a lap around the course within the allotted time," according to Gran Turismo 6's official website.

The statement continued, "This is a long 27 km course set around the Zahara el Gastor water reservoir, located at the northern end of the Sierra de Grazalema natural park in the Andalusia region of Spain. The course with many ups and downs and its combination of tight and high speed corners is simply fun to drive."

Passing through the 11 checkpoints will extend the player's time and scores will be calculated based on distance driven.

The developers have also added "Quick Match" mode to the expanding Gran Turismo 6 online realm.

When selected, a player will be matched up with random players around the world for a quick online race with pre-determined regulations.

Aside from these, two stunning rides are also introduced to Gran Turismo 6: Nissan GT-R NISMO and TOYOTA FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo.

Of course, the Nissan R35 GT-R is the ultimate inspiration for the Nissan GT-R NISMO.

The car is free for Gran Turismo 6 players who have entered the GT Academy 2014 competition.

Meanwhile, TOYOTA FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo is a redesign of the FT-1 concept.

Gran Turismo 6 was released on December 5, 2013, for PS3.
