The much-awaited annual video game conference E3 will commence on Tuesday, June 14. Numerous brand-new games and gaming consoles are expected to be unveiled in the massive gaming event. Rumor has it that Rockstar Games will most likely announce, if not launch, the progress and the current stage of "Grand Theft Auto VI" (GTA 6).

According to reports, GTA 6 will feature something fresh, compared to its predecessor GTA 5. Its core is still the free-roaming third-person shooter gameplay. However, the story it will follow might be something very different and surprising than what players are used to.

This unrevealed change could be the location of the game. It is rumored to be set in Liberty City, but some sources debunk this, saying that the Liberty City location is for the next GTA 5 expansion pack. It could also include maps of San Fierro and Las Venturas. Both map locations were excluded in the most recent installment because of limitations of resources and game consoles. Another map that fans are looking forward to in GTA 6 is the comeback of Vice City. Also, there might be more driving stunts, and new male and female characters.

There are speculations that the reason behind its delay is because of the legal battle between the game developer company and the producer and designer of the previous games, Leslie Benzie. Because of Benzie's exit, many fans are concerned about its effect on the hit game series, especially for its future titles.

As for the game's release, Rockstar Games may impose its 5-year gap in each game so GTA 6 may releases in 2018. Hopefully, more news about the upcoming installment will be announced in E3 2016.
