"Grey's Anatomy" provided fans its most shocking, mind-boggling season that saw the untimely death of fan-favorite, Dr. Derek Shepherd. Actor, Patrick Dempsey's exit caused major online furor as fans attempted to bring him back.

However, season 12 seems to be a promising one even though McDreamy will no longer be a part of the cast. For starters, Bailey is going to be back and this time she has her A-game on. In an interview with Zap2it, actress, Chandra Wilson, who plays the influential doctor, made it clear that the Bailey from seasons one and two will be back.

"(You'll see) some self-confidence that you haven't seen in a while from her coming out...It looks like from what I'm reading in the next script, she's across the board giving people a hard time. That's why I'm saying it's some classic Bailey about to come out."

Bailey will be giving her contenders for chief of surgery a hard time. The no-nonsense version of the character may be just what fans need after Derek's untimely exit. It will certainly bring back some of the old charm of "Grey's Anatomy".

While Bailey is hustling for the coveted position at Grey Sloan Memorial hospital, actress, Sarah Drew, told Digital Spy that she's willing to play her character Dr. April Kepner for as long as possible.

"If I get to continue to evolve in the way that I've been able to evolve in the last six years, yes, (I'll stay)" she told the publication.

Well, at least fans know that one character will not abruptly leave the Shonda Rhimes-produced medical procedural drama. Meanwhile, the show has recruited Martin Henderson as a series regular in an attempt to replace Dempsey, reports TVLine. Henderson will play a new surgeon at the hospital. On the other hand, Bailey's husband, played by actor, Jason George, has been promoted as a series regular for season 12.

Does this mean Bailey will not only make head-waves in her career but also jostle ample drama in her personal life?

Find out as "Grey's Anatomy" returns with season 12 on Sept. 24, 2015 on ABC.
