'Grey's Anatomy' season 13 spoilers: Owen proves Amelia did not make a mistake to marry him

(Facebook/GreysAnatomy)Owen works hard to make his marriage work in "Grey Anatomy's" season 13.

Owen (Kevin McKidd) will do everything to make his marriage with Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) work in the upcoming season of "Grey's Anatomy."

Last installment, the pair had a simple wedding attended by family members and friends. Before the ceremony, Amelia had doubts about the marriage, but Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) made her realize what she would stand to lose. In the end, she walked down the aisle towards Owen's waiting arms. Although they have their ups and downs, the newlyweds are determined to stick together through thick and thin. The redhead doctor, in particular, has no intention of destroying what they have.

In his interview with Melty, McKidd said that his character deserves to be happy this time around. Owen and his first wife Cristina (Sandra Oh) called it quits due to irreconcilable differences. She did not want to get pregnant and Owen took it hard. She eventually left and Owen had to pick up the pieces. He then fell for Amelia, but it took a long time for them to admit that they love each other. They have to thank Meredith again for steering them to the right direction. If left on their own, Owen and Amelia will keep circling around each other and there might never be a wedding.

Meanwhile, fans of "Japril" have not given up hope that their favorite couple will get back together. Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April (Sarah Drew) are divorced, but they remain in contact because of her pregnancy. Williams recently told TV Line that it is impossible to predict what will happen to the pair in the future. He said that what they have is too complex for that.

"It's day to day with Jackson and April. They can have a very civil, mature conversation one moment, then be at each other's throats [the next], because real life is like that. We carry frustrations and baggage and grudges. [They] can fight and then have sex in the same scene. It's a very passionate relationship with a lot of history behind it. Whether it also has a future in front of it remains a big ol' question mark," he said.
