'Grimm' season 5 episode 17 spoilers: Nick hunts for a Japanese Wesen out for revenge; Eve warns Adalind not to harm Nick

(Facebook/NBCGrimm)Two hexenbiests to face off on the next episode of "Grimm" season 5

Eve and Hadrian's Wall have been very adamant in stating that Juliette is dead. Eve previously told Nick that she only has Juliette's memories, not her emotions. But it seems that Juliette's feelings for her boyfriend might still be there, somewhere.

Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) has been busy lately, transforming herself into Renard (Sasha Roiz) and sleeping with Rachel Wood (Anne Leighton) to gain information on Black Claw. How she'll use the information she got remains to be seen, but it would appear she's more interested in keeping Nick (David Giuntoli) safe.

The synopsis for episode 17, "Inugami," reveals that Nick and Hank (Russell Hornsby) will be looking into the murder of a young man whose head was found under a bridge. The death appears to be related to an ancient Japanese tradition of revenge. Meanwhile, Adalind (Claire Coffee) goes back to work and later has a chilling encounter with Eve.

Some photo stills found on NBC's website show a hooded person apparently conducting a ritual. His face is obscured by the cloak he's wearing, but he could be the Japanese man shown in another photo.

Meanwhile, the trailer for the upcoming episode focuses on Eve and Adalind's long-awaited encounter. The trailer starts with a shot of Nick's car. The Grimm and Eve appear to be on a stakeout. She asks Nick if he noticed any changes in Adalind. Kelly's mom is then shown woging into a hexenbeist, along with a flashback of how volatile she was and a scene of Nick and her in bed. The clip ends with Eve unexpectedly arriving at Nick's place. Adalind slowly backs away as Eve warns her that if she hurts Nick, she will come for her.

Eve's statement is intriguing as it sounds almost protective. After all, why would she care what happens between Adalind and Nick? While Grimms are important to Hadrian's Wall, Nick has been more of a reluctant ally than a valued member of their cause.

Fans who ship Adalind and Nick are undoubtedly also wondering what will happen to their relationship now that her hexenbiest powers are back. Will she become as dangerous as she was before? Or will her being a mother to Kelly change things?

Luckily, "Grimm" has more than enough time to answer these questions as the series has been renewed for another season.

Episode 17 of "Grimm" season 5 will be aired on Apr. 15 on NBC.
