The shocking ending of "Grimm" season 4 has made fans go online to voice their excitement about the upcoming series. While the last scene in the episode wasn't that shocking, since long time viewers were already aware of the impending death, it still piqued their interest as to how the plot would now continue.

"Grimm", which first aired in 2011, is widely regarded as NBC's fresh new take on the already tired cop drama trope. The show revolves around Nick Burkhardt, a Portland police homicide investigator, and his coming to terms with his supernatural lineage. The show is loosely based on the characters from Grimms' Fairy Tales and features Wesens, which are a representation of the Grimm mythological creatures in modern society.

The fourth season ended with the episode entitled "Cry Havoc" and saw its fare share of twists, revelations and conclusions.

The episode finally featured Nick and Juliette battling it out after a season's worth of deceit on her part. Nick concluded that Juliette might have something to do with the death of his mother, with the revelation pushing him to choke her to death. However, Nick is unable to bring himself to kill his once beloved partner and let goes. Juliette sees this as an opportunity to kill Nick. Thankfully, as Nick almost succumbs to defeat, Trubel sneaks up behind Juliette and kills her.

While her death might provide enough fodder for speculations, the episode ended with masked men getting Juliette's remains, further throwing the plot for season 5 up in the air for the show's fans to imagine.

Many avid viewers have come to terms with Bitsie Tulloch, actress playing Juliette, not starring on the upcoming season. However, with the twist in the end in the form of masked men taking Juliette's remains, and both the actress as well as show runner, David Greewalt, teasing the media of what is to come in season 5, it appears that fans are yet to see the last of Juliette.

With the show ending with a death, fans are speculating that can be only be more darkness ahead. In an interview, Greenwalt has confirmed those speculations saying:

"I think it's going to be even darker still in a way. You know, it's not going to be the same Grimm."

"Grimm" was green lighted for a fifth season in February last year, though no premiere date has been announced as yet.
