The second season "Haikyuu!!" has just ended recently and fans of the hit TV anime series are already seeking to know more about the third season, which reportedly will feature a new twist. The story in season 3 will revolve around Shouyou Hinata and Tobio Kagayema being on the same team. Now, many fans are likely wondering if the two can ever be friends.

It has been revealed that season 3 will focus on high school student Shouyou from Karasuno High whose love for volleyball was triggered during a chance event. Shouyou's dream was to defeat the volleyball superstar dubbed as the King of Court, Tobio.

The twist in the story will revolve around that fact that when Shouyou joins the team and finds out that Tobio is, apparently, his teammate. In the trailer for "Haikyu!!" season 3, Shouyou is seen very much surprised to see that he and Tobio are wearing the same uniform and finds it hard to believe that they are on the same team until the school's official setter Koshi Sugawa announced it. Just like other anime series, the characters have to pass school exams in order for them to be given approval to join a match.

The Twitter account of "Haikyuu!!" revealed a visual showing Shouyou and Tobio.  As of report writing, the post has received more than 23,000 tweets and close to 27,000 likes. This just shows how wide the fan base of this anime cartoons is. Its followers are expressing their excitement over the premiere of season 3, which will be a sequel to the first and second season.

Likewise, the third season's video trailer revealed the title as "Haikyu!! Karasuno Koukou VS Sharatorizawa Gakuen KouKou." The trailer also featured a brand new visual for the anime.

The anime TV series is adapted from the similarly named "Haikyuu!!," written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate, a Japanese shōnen manga (a manga aimed at young male audience) series.

"Haikyu!! Karasuno Koukou VS Sharatorizawa Gakuen KouKou" will be airing this October.
