'Halo 5: Guardians' Warzone Firefight DLC release date June 29: what to expect

(Halo 5)The Warzone Firefight DLC will be out this June 29.

The ninth installment in the "Halo" franchise, "Halo 5," is still making news as of today since its release last October 2015. Due to constant updates and downloadable contents (DLCs) being dished out by developer 343 Industries, players have a lot of reasons to play the game for hours. "Halo 5" is at it again as another DLC is about to be released by the developer, and Master Chief Jameson Locke and the rest of the Spartan-II elites will be busier than ever as the Warzone Firefight DLC will be available next week.

The new DLC, just like previous segments of the game, will be free to download by fans come Wednesday next week. Another great news is that the game itself will also be free of charge on the same day and this great offer will run for a week, so newbies to the game can still catch up with all the hype and at the same time enjoy the latest DLC from Xbox One's popular title.

The Warzone Firefight will be packed with new weapons at player's disposal, new vehicles, and as Polygon reported, even the hard as nail Grunt Goblin will be another addition to the expansion. Grunt Goblin is a mechanized suit of alien technology piloted by one of the alien goblin's best soldiers. The suit is well-equipped with two-nozzled guns on the right arm that can take down multiple targets.

Moreover, this fearsome machine is very much capable of close quarter combat. One punch is all it takes to easily crush anyone or anything that goes near it. To complete the package, the Grunt Goblin emits an electromagnetic pulse to instantly disable any electronic artillery from the United Nations Space Command (UNSC).

The UNSC, on the other hand, has some firepower of its own. While the goblins somewhat dominate the ground with the Grunt Goblin, the UNSC rules the skies with its small but well-armored Wasp. This air support vehicle is packed with rocket launchers and machine guns that would definitely be an equalizer during combat.

Aside from these, the forthcoming DLC will also feature new maps, which include Attack on Sanctum, Prospect, and Molten.

"Halo 5: Guardians" Warzone Firefight will be available for download on June 29.
