The wait for "Hannibal" seems all too hard as season three will not be aired before summer. Fans are vying for a taste of Hannibal and his fava beans and liver-chomping antics. Well, the good news is the Internet is peppered with spoilers to keep fans on their toes till the season's premiere.

The plot for the upcoming season is at least partly based on the book "Red Dragon". Will Graham will engage in a cat-and-mouse chase all the way to Florence in Italy in order to track down gruesome Dr. Hannibal Lecter after season two's shocking finale. Screenrant reports that Hannibal's past will be extensively explored, just like in the book "Hannibal Rising" but writers will choose to eliminate certain parts of his past which will be shown in the form of flashbacks. While season three's trailer offers audiences a glimpse into what is to transpire between the good doctor and Will, it gives away very little of the fate of Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) and Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas). Fans are praying that the pair are still alive.

The trailer also depicts Lady Murasaki's assistant, played by Tao Okamoto, enjoying a comfortable fire while chatting with Graham. Nina Arianda plays the role of Molly, Graham's future wife, and will make an appearance in episode eight of season three. New cast members Okamoto and Arianda are also joined by "True Blood" actor Rutina Wesley and "Hobbit" star Richard Armitage, according to TV Line. While Armitage plays the role of serial killer Francis Dolarhyd aka The Tooth Fairy, Wesley will play his character's romantic interest, Reba McClane. McClane is a blind woman who catches his fancy and is Francis' best chance at humanity.

Another cast to join the gamut of stellar actors is Glenn Fleshler from "True Detective", according to a TV Line report. Fleshler is cast as Cordell, the personal doctor of the disfigured Mason Verger. His character is described as quiet, very intelligent and definitely creepy yet attentive and gentle with Mason. Cordell shares the same sadistic nature as his boss, Mason.

Season three will air in summer 2015 on NBC.
