'House of Cards' season 4: Show looking to cast doctors and other medical personnel; more 'Machiavellian scheming' to happen next season

(Netflix)

Netflix is already gearing up for production to start on "House of Cards" and are allegedly looking for a few good men and women to fill certain roles.

The critically acclaimed political drama series is reportedly looking for doctors, nurses and various medical personnel in the Baltimore area.

A casting call posted on the Marinella Hume Casting Baltimore/DC's Facebook page revealed that the series is looking for people to fill in the aforementioned roles. Of course, there's a very real possibility that those in the medical profession might be too busy to try out so the company will settle for someone who can look the part, although "REAL medical experience is a plus." According to the posting, "House of Cards" is looking for males and females of all ethnicities who are between 25 to 50 years old, with no facial hair and no unnatural hair colors and who are available any time of the day.

It's unknown why the series is looking to cast people who can portray people in the medical profession, but the hit political drama has been reported to show more "Machiavellian Scheming" next season. It's possible that this scheming might put one or two people in the hospital.

According to "House of Cards" director, Michael Dobbs, the next season will be delving deeper into Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and Claire's (Robin Wright) relationship. The director has even hinted that Frank is gearing up to exact some kind of retribution. Who will be on the receiving end of that rumored retribution is another mystery.

The fourth season of "House of Cards" is highly anticipated by its legions of fans, the President and First Lady of the U.S. among them. Speculations have been brewing that the Underwoods will still be together next season and that Frank and Claire might even adopt a child. However, this is more out of necessity and the desire to project a positive image than it is about love.

"House of Cards" will reportedly be back early next year.
