With several new smartphones entering the market each month, many have tried to take on Apple by offering similar metal bodies. One such offering is the HTC One A9, which since its launch has been getting a lot of attention as it looks exactly like the iPhone 6s. Importantly while reviews have compared the two devices, they have also pointed to the strengths of the device from HTC.

In its review, Stuff TV states that if the looks of the HTC One A9 are taken into account, people will have trouble distinguishing it from the latest phone from Apple the iPhone 6s. This could lead to several people buying the One A9 instead of the costlier and faster device from Apple just because they want a look alike. Finally however, the reviewer describes the device as a "well made phone" that could stand up well to other smartphones in the market and even the iPhone lineup.

Comparing the HTC One A9 to the flagship One M9 sibling which was released earlier in the year, TechRadar states that it is superior in a number of ways. One of these if the fingerprint scanner which is described in the review as easy to set up and recognizes user's input without any problem. Also the camera and design get top points from the reviewer who describes how the photos created are sharp and very clear and importantly they are consistently good.

Gizmodo in its review brands HTC One A9 as an "iPhone that is powered by Android" and importantly only costs about half as much. Comparing the design of the two devices, the reviewer states even though the similarities are hilarious, it does not diminish the fact that the HTC One A9 offers a great deal and is also slightly bigger than the smartphone from Apple. However, when it comes to performance of the operating system, this particular device is much slower than the iPhone 6s even though the user interface that HTC has employed has been slimmed down considerably making it appear like a stock Android edition.
