Aside from her rapping skills and chart-topping hits, Iggy Azalea's looks has made her into one of the most popular musicians of today. Her influence over women has stretched far and wide and, unfortunately for Azalea, causing some male rappers use her as a subject of abusive topics.

In one of US rapper Eminem's songs, Iggy Azalea is mentioned in the context of rape, and the female rapper is not too happy about it.

"Unless you're Nicki/grab you by the wrist let's ski/so what's it gon be/put that s--t away Iggy/You don't wanna blow that rape whistle on me," raps Eminem in a song called 'Vegas.'

Eminem has always been targeted by critics for his negative lyrics, with some bordering on homophobia and violence against women.

Azalea made sure to stand up for herself by responding to the rapper's lyrics using her Twitter account.

"I'm bored of the old men threatening young women as entertainment trend and much more interested in the young women getting $ trend," wrote Azalea in her Twitter account on Thursday.

Azalea wrote another post, saying that Eminem's lyrics felt awkward since her younger brother is a huge Eminem fan.

"its especially akward because my 14 year old brother is the biggest eminem fan and now the artist he admired says he wants to rape me. nice!" added the rapper in a separate tweet.
