iOS 10 jailbreak release news: tool showcased, but unlikely to be made available?

(Apple)Widely available iOS 10 jailbreak not available currently

As soon as the full version of Apple's iOS 10 was officially released, many people's thoughts quickly turned to when an iOS 10 jailbreak may similarly be made widely available, and the answer to that question still remains unclear at this point.

If a public version of the new jailbreak is going to be released, it will likely have to come from the major jailbreaking teams: Pangu and TaiG.

Unfortunately, neither team has announced anything of significance when it comes to the possible release of a new jailbreak.

At this point, the only hint that an iOS 10 jailbreak may be released publicly courtesy of the two teams was when Pangu showcased the Cydia app running on iOS 10 earlier this year during an appearance at the Mobile Security Conference, according to an earlier post from Superphen.co.

Since then, folks have still been waiting to hear new details related to an iOS 10 jailbreak.

In related news, renowned jailbreaker Luca Todesco recently shared a new image indicating that the new Apple operating system has indeed been jailbroken.

Todesco shared the image over on Twitter, though it's worth noting that this is not the first time he has demonstrated his hacking skills in relation to Apple's iOS 10. Earlier this month, Todesco also shared a video showing the new jailbreak in action.

Considering the recent developments, it doesn't exactly come as a shock that people are asking Todesco when the new exploit may be made publicly available, though they probably shouldn't expect to see anything released anytime soon.

Folks waiting for Todesco to release the new jailbreak may be better served looking elsewhere, as the hacker is not known for making his exploits widely available.

Once again, people will have no other choice than to wait for either Pangu or TaiG to step up and release the eagerly anticipated jailbreak, though that could take a while, given how things are going currently.

More details about the iOS 10 jailbreak should be made available in the near future.
