Apple, Inc., has released the second update for iOS 8, iOS 8.0.2, following a massive rage over issues on iOS 8.0.1 last week.

"We have received reports of an issue with the iOS 8.0.1 update. We are actively investigating ... In the meantime, we have pulled back the iOS 8.0.1 update," said Trudy Miller, an Apple spokeswoman.

The company pulled the iOS 8.0.1 update just 60 minutes after its release following buggy system reports.

Apple released iOS 8.0.2 Thursday night with the following promise to, "fix an issue that affected iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users who downloaded 8.0.1".

The latest update, "includes improvements and bug fixes originally in iOS 8.0.1. We apologize for inconveniencing the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users who were impacted by the bug in iOS 8.0.1," the company stated.

The iOS 8.0.2 update offers fixes on cellular network connectivity and Touch ID delays on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and has made the HealthKit App available in the App Store.

After its record-breaking four million first-day orders, iPhone 6 hit the headlines again with a different turn – this time over the "BendGate" issue.

Videos of iPhone 6 bending have plagued the internet.

Even Samsung, Apple's fiercest smartphone competitor, has capitalized on this subject to pick on Apple.

The Tim Cook-led company played defense on the matter of bending, however.

"With normal use, a bend in iPhone is extremely rare and through our first six days of sale, a total of nine customers have contacted Apple with a bent iPhone 6 Plus," Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller said in a statement.

When everything has been said and done, weighing all pros and cons against Apple over the past three weeks, it seems like the Cupertino-based company still has millions of things to rejoice over.

The latest iPhone has now officially crossed the 10 million sales mark, less than two weeks after the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus hit the market.
