iPad Air 3 news: To be presented as a lower-priced pad in October?

(Apple)The iPad Air 2 (in photo) boasts of superior tablet performance despite being lightweight. The rumored iPad Air 3 is expected to be an improvement of the said variant.

The iPad Air 3 is one of those consistently rumored new Apple gadgets that did not make it to the company's event in September. With another event coming up this month, rumors about iPad Air 3 finally coming out as a lower-priced Apple pad emerged.

The Reporter Times gathered rumors that Apple has been thinking of launching affordable devices and that is how iPad Air 3 will be marketed. It has been three years since iPad Air 2 was released, and an upgrade for the said device has long been anticipated.

Another reported reason for Apple's decision to come up with more affordable devices is the declining popularity of tablets in the market. The expected price range would be from €300 to €400. It also believed to be released before the year ends, otherwise its price will be lowered if the release happens next year.

University Herald has come up with five reasons why consumers should watch out for the rumored iPad Air 3. The first reason is based on reports saying that the upcoming Apple tablet has the new configuration iPad Pro. The device is also reported to be 9.7 inches with a screen resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixel density.

The second reason is because of rumors suggesting the device will come with a Smart Keyboard cover attached to a Smart Connector. This feature will prolong the battery life of the said gadget.

Thirdly, iPad Air 3 is said to be made compatible with Apple Pencil, which is the selling point for the previously launched 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

The first iPad Air became the thinnest tablet in the market upon its release and iPad Air 2 was surprisingly thinner than the first one. The fourth reason points to speculations that iPad Air 3 will even be thinner.

Last but not the least, Apple has successfully launched its A10 chipset with the iPhone 7 variants and the same chip is believed to be installed in the Apple iPad Air 3.

More news and updates should arrive soon.
