iPad Pro 2 release date, rumors, specs: New model expected to be borderless

(Reuters/ Beck Diefenbach)It will be interesting to see how the rumored iPad Pro 2 is going to make improvements and changes to the existing iPad Pro.

Technology is a fickle world to be in, taking into consideration the fleeting demands of the public. This is something Apple knows all too well, which is why the development for the rumored iPad Pro 2 has been careful and calculated.

The iPad Pro 2 needs to bring something new to the table, and rumors suggest they are going the distance. MacRumors suggest that there is a huge possibility that the new Apple tablet is going to sport a borderless design, which could mean the removal of the home button. How the company goes around this is something interesting and risky at the same time, considering the brand has been known for quick navigation using that feature.

Some of the other notable changes that could happen include True Tone display using four-channel ambient light sensors, quad microphones, and a 12-megapixel rear-facing iSight camera with True Tone flash. Moreover, they are also predicting that the new tablet's size will be around the 10-inch range.

More reports suggest that the new line of iPad Pro 2 will have an A10X chip, coupled with an OLED screen. The A10X chip will be conserving battery power depending on the activities on the iPad Pro 2, while the OLED displays minimize the need for backlight. All of which addresses the constant problem of battery life.

There are rumors pointing to the first half of 2017 as the launch date of the new line of Apple tablets. If it is true, it will be worth seeing how they will be further revolutionizing a gadget that has changed the world of technology in its wake.

When the iPad was first introduced to the world, it shook every competitor in the market, driving the audiences to getting a piece of the action. The iPad singlehandedly created a new world for tablets, making it a must-have for tech aficionados. However, recent development on smartphone designs is rendering screens to be larger than before, making consumers second-guess the use of the tablet.

This is exactly why Apple is doing the best it can in creating the rumored iPad Pro 2. All rumors are to be taken with a grain of salt, although it would be an utter lie to say that it wasn't an interesting concept, and, if anyone can pull off an unexpected stunt, the hopes are high for Apple.
