There are reports that Apple is set to launch another iPhone later this year. It's not yet known whether Apple's next iPhone will be named the iPhone 6S or the iPhone 7, but rumors about its release date and specifications have been flying thick and fast.

A report by PC Advisor expects a 4.7 inch version of the new iPhone, similar to the iPhone 6, and a 5.5 inch version like the iPhone 6 plus. However, Apple is unlikely to make any radical changes in the design of the new iPhone.

The report claims that iPhone 7 will have Apple's A9 processor meant for the next generation of smartphones. The processor is likely to be manufactured using a 14-nanometer design and will be smaller, more efficient and more powerful. PC Advisor also expects the iPhone 7 to have a "sidewall display" like the Galaxy Note Edge.

According to Mac World, the new iPhone phone could come with a 3D display, as Apple appears to be developing a "naked eye 3D screen" to enables viewing without glasses.

Meanwhile, iPhone7update.com expects the traditional Li-On batteries in iPhone 7 to be replaced by batteries made of organic materials and provide extended hours of battery life.

iPhone already has one of the best cameras that can be featured in a phone, but if the rumors are to be believed, then Apple could make it even better by integrating its new patented application called Mirror Tilt Actuation. With magnets to allow the image sensors and zoom lens to move independently, users will experience greater image stabilization and take better photos on the move using the new iPhone.

The iPhone 6S is said to be coming this month or in April, while Apple is rumored to announce the iPhone 7 in the fall. Until then, stay tuned for more rumors of specs and release date of the new iPhone.
