With the new iPhone lineup rumored to be unveiled on Sept. 9, the Internet has been swamped with a series of rumors about the upcoming iPhone 6s and its bigger sibling the 6s Plus. Among the rumors are photos and a video showcasing the iPhone 6s' logic board and its display, as well as its retail packaging.

The video of the iPhone 6s surfaced via MacRumors which, on previous occasions, had already reported about parts which would be included in the device. The video was extremely detailed, showing what appeared to the logic board and the display of the device. But when the device was powered up, an icon resembling a gear was seen, which led to the speculation that it was just a partially assembled model.

Among the various components that were seen in the leaked photos of the logic board was a Qualcomm WTR3925 radio transceiver chip and the Qualcomm WTR1625L RF transceiver. Commenting on this, Forbes stated that the presence of these chips point toward the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus having better network performance compared to any other device previously released by Apple.

Unfortunately, the leaked photos and video did not reveal whether the device would come with the new A9 chip, as well as the Force Touch. However, another rumor surrounding the leaked photo suggested that the small rectangular chip at the back of the display indicates the presence of Force Touch.

In addition, this particular rumor stated that the display is heavier compared to previous iPhone models, which will ultimately increase the thickness of the device.

Finally, retail packaging of the iPhone 6s has also been spotted on the Internet and if it proves to be true, then it confirms confirm previous rumors that the device's design will be identical to its predecessor, the iPhone 6.
