'Iron Man 4' rumors: Robert Downey Jr. to star for one last time, movie to introduce 'Iron Heart'

(Facebook/Iron Man)Rumor has it that "Iron Man 4" will be Robert Downey Jr's. last as the iron-clad superhero.

While it remains unclear whether Marvel Studios will still produce another solo "Iron Man" movie to be top-billed by Robert Downey Jr., the latest reports claim that there will be one, indeed, and it will be the actor's last.

There is no denying that "Iron Man 4" is one of the most-clamored-for movies. While there are conflicting rumors on whether Downey Jr. will still don the iron suit for another solo "Iron Man" movie or not, the latest reports claim that there will be one.

However, it may be the actor's last time to be clad in the iron suit as, reportedly, the movie will eventually introduce a new iron-clad superhero from the Marvel comic books, Riri Williams, a.k.a. Iron Heart.

To the uninitiated, Riri Williams is a female teenage black American who made her own iron suit in her dormitory. The character was introduced to the pages of Marvel comic books last year, and, according to earlier reports, the character's look in the comic books was inspired by Disney actress Skai Jackson.

Late last year, Jackson posted a photo of her along with "Spider-Man: Homecoming" star Tom Holland and captioned her post with "Who's ready for #spidermanhomecoming?" As Downey Jr.'s Iron Man is also confirmed to appear in the movie of the web-squirting superhero, many suspect that Riri Williams will be introduced in the movie, too, and will be played by Jackson.

With the latest rumors claiming that Marvel is producing "Iron Man 4" and making it as Downey Jr.'s' swan song as Tony Stark/Iron Man, could it be that Riri Williams will really be taking over the role of Marvel's iron-clad superhero, indeed?

As of this writing, Marvel has yet to confirm whether it is, indeed, making another solo "Iron Man" movie slated for a 2020 release. Hence, everything must be taken with a grain of salt for now.
