Eminem new album release date after collaboration project with Skylar Grey?

(Facebook/Eminem)It has been three years since rap artist Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, released an album. Talks about an upcoming 2016 album has been making the rounds, but the artist has not confirmed yet.

Singer-songwriter Skylar Grey has dropped her single "Kill for You," which features no less than rap star Eminem who has been rumored to come up with a new album for 2016. Now, people are speculating that it will not be long before the rapper drops his rumored album as well.

News about Eminem's album coming this year has been making the rounds for months. The said album has not been confirmed until now and, every time Eminem's name figures in headlines, such as other artists' feud and appearing on stage, many take it as a hint to the long-rumored Eminen new album 2016.

"Kill for You" is part of the album "Natural Causes" and is inspired by the story of killer couple Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. Rolling Stone points out that in the song, the pair represents the characters where Grey becomes the doer of the crime, while Eminem serves as the manipulative half, hence the title.

The song is also produced by Eminem. Grey said, "Since the first day I started writing 'Kill for You,' I thought the Connie and Clyde message would be more powerful as a duet. I was stoked when Marshall put a verse on it."

The two artists have already collaborated before in the songs "Love the Way You Lie," "I Need a Doctor," and "Asshole." The three songs are all part of Eminem's albums.

In other news, another artist, Juicy J, has also expressed desire to collaborate with Eminem. In a radio interview, Juicy J said, "Eminem and Juicy do a record together, I think that would be some hot shit. Cause I would like to go in and produce the beat. Like an old Three 6 Mafia style beat and we just do some shit over something like that, some '90s shit. I think that would be classic."

It has been three years since Eminem dropped an album and his fans are already missing him. While he has shied away from the limelight, however, he continues to work on producing for other artists and dedicating time to his advocacies.

Is he really coming up with an album? Or will he just be appearing on other artists' tracks?
