Janet Jackson called it quits with husband Wissam Al Mana. Reports claim that the latter was being too controlling.

Just early this year, Jackson gave birth to her first child with Al Mana. The couple welcomed a baby boy and named him Eissa.

However, just recently, a report surfaced claiming that the "Got 'Til It's Gone" singer has divorced his husband. Citing a source who is allegedly close to the couple, Page Six wrote that Al Mana "had become controlling" while Jackson was pregnant with their son.

The couple's cultural differences were also said to be the problem. The singer was known for her somewhat sexually explicit style. She even posed for a magazine cover in 1993 where she was photographed topless. Jackson wore revealing outfits as well in her concerts.

However, it looks like such did not sit well with her husband as he has a different culture. Even so, Jackson tried to adapt to his husband's beliefs.

It even came to a point where the "All for You" singer allegedly turned down music video offers that would feature sexually explicit scenes. There are claims that she even converted to Islam.

She has allegedly had enough of it, claims the unnamed source, adding that Jackson felt that she was already losing her fans. "It drove her crazy," the source told Page Six.

What will happen to their three-month-old baby, though? Well, a source said that the couple will still raise their child together, as per People.

Jackson secretly married Al Mana in 2012. The Qatari businessman was her third husband. She first married "DeBarge" member, James DeBarge in 1984, but they annulled their marriage a year after.

Jackson then took vows with "That's the Way Love Goes" and "Together Again" director, René Elizondo Jr. Their relationship lasted for nine years.
