Drunk drivers can cause unspeakable damage to themselves and others while on the road. Luckily for Jennifer Lopez, Leah Remini, and their three children, they were left unharmed after a drunk driver driving a pick-up truck hit the rear end of the vehicle they were traveling in on Saturday.

"Sitting at a light, Riding high right before some drunk fool rear ended us in my new whip!!! Thank god everyone ok!!! #GRATEFUL #THANKYOUGOD #DontdrinkandDrive!!!! #cursedthatfoolout #theBronxcameout #dontmesswithmycoc[o]nuts #mamabear #leahstayedcalm #thatwasweird" the 45-year-old singer on posted in a selfie on her Instagram account, with hashtags that seemed to be narrating everything else she was feeling.

Before the post-accident Instagram post, Lopez had posted a video of her 6-year-old son, Max, in the back seat, bobbing his head to the music being played inside the car. Lopez also posted a photo of Max's twin sister, Emmie, and Remini's daughter, Sofia.

"These three cuties make my day!! #Coconuts #Sofia #lunchwthekiddies #bigpimpin' #brooklynindahouse," Lopez wrote in the caption for the photo of the children.

Lopez was with 'King of Queens' actress, Leah Remini during the incident. It was reported that Remini was driving that time, and stopped at a traffic light when the unnamed drunk driver hit the car and drove away.

TMZ reported that one of the women inside the vehicle called 911 and reported the incident. Shortly after, deputies of the sheriff found the driver nearby and arrested him under the charge of "hit and run."
