Many are still remembering Joan Rivers in different ways two weeks following her death on September 4. Even US President Barack Obama sent Melissa Rivers a handwritten note, saying Rivers did not only make them laugh, but they also made them 'think.'

Rivers hosted an E! Network show called 'Fashion Police,' with daughter Melissa, where they criticized wardrobe choices of celebrities with Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic.

Melissa Rivers, in a video, expressed how she felt about the legacy left by her mother:

"This chair was the place where a woman spoke the truth about celebs and fashion and did it in a way that was hilarious and also 100 percent original," Rivers said, pointing to the spot where her mother usually sat, as reported by Today.

"Tonight we want to say goodbye the only way my mother would want us to be remembered: the jokes, the unbelievable guests and all the moments on set and behind the scenes that made 'Fashion Police' must-see television around the globe," Rivers added.

"For the next 90 minutes, we're going to do what my mom loved to do most: laugh," Melissa Rivers added during the E! Network special.

Joan Rivers passed away after being induced in a coma, due to a complication during an operation for her throat in Mount Sinai hospital.
