Kate Middleton will be giving birth to a beautiful baby girl or a handsome baby boy anytime now. The press was alerted to setup equipment and camps outside the hospital on April 15 by officials from the Palace. DNA reports that royal fans and the media have started queuing up outside St. Mary hospital's Lindo Wing where the beaming Duchess will give birth. She had previously given birth to baby George in the same hospital and wing.

The countdown has begun as everyone in London waits with bated breath for the announcement of the royal baby's birth. While it was previously expected that Catherine would give birth at the end of April, she informed at an event that she is actually due from mid to end of April. The world's media will be on standby in the Paddington area to get their first look of the royal baby. This time, unlike Prince George's birth, police have setup barricades in order to keep the crowds and media in check. Officials are reportedly on duty to control traffic and manage the chaos when the announcement is made.

Inquisitr reports that Dr. Alan Farthing will be overseeing the birth of Kate's child. He was also part of the team that assisted in the delivery of Prince George. Prince Harry will not be present for his niece or nephew's birth since he is currently in Australia. However, he will be informed of the child's birth before it is reported by the press or social media.

As is tradition, many Londoners have placed their bets on the name and gender of the unborn royal baby. Wagers indicate that it will be a baby girl. E! News spoke to CNN Royal Commentator Victoria Arbiter, who had predicted Kate and William would name their son George correctly, came up with a list of possible names for the new child.

There is a possibility that Kate's second child will be named from her family's side or a combination of a royal name and her family's name. Baby girls' names include Carole (Kate's mother), Valerie (her paternal grandmother), Mary (Kate's paternal great aunt) and Olive (her paternal great-grandmother). Baby boy's names include Michael (Kate's father), Peter (Kate's paternal grandfather) and Noel (Kate's paternal grandfather).
